A 4,000 mile journey begins with two beeps!
Our long distance field tester TJ is at it again!
TJ bought Ducky from us back in 2021 (roughly our 300th Bugeye) then flew in with his wife, and drove it home. In 2021, TJ and Ducky went on their maiden voyage of a 4,000 mile journey back to his home in Washington state, which is about as far away as you can get from our shop within the continental USA. That adventure was with the original 948 engine.
He had so much fun on the trip that he came back to do it again this summer!

Hey Bugeyegals, here’s my wife Leslie’s driving impressions after a few summers with “Iris,” her Iris blue 1960 Bugeye.
We had a client ask for this video, so here’s Leslie’s report from the field, useful for anyone thinking of giving a Sprite a new home!
One F@#$ing Automobile
“That is one awesome f***ing automobile right there,” exclaims the traffic guy. “I gotta have a picture of that!”

John Noreika purchased one of our Bugeye’s a few years ago and may be one of our most frequent fliers… He’s probably put about 15,000 miles on the car. This past weekend he did the Juvenile Diabetes rally in Connecticut that included a few laps at Lime Rock Park, in Lakeville. Here’s a great picture from that event.
John is proof that antique British sports cars can be (somewhat) reliable and it’s nice to see him out using his machine. John and all of our other clients who are out on the road with their Sprites help us to continue to innovate and improve upon our processes to make the most reliable products available on the market today. We learn something new every week, and it is that continuous improvement that helps us to make the best product possible, and also to provide for you the best possible parts!
