This is Bugeye number 268, sold to Bill in May of 2020. When she started jumping out of gear, it was a great excuse to add a five-speed so we picked up the car all the way out in Seattle and brought it to our shop here in Connecticut. And while he was at it, Bill decided more power would be nice… so in went a newly rebuilt 1275. We’re lucky to have those engines in stock now for customers who want to upgrade!
Transformation abounds. Bill also added a new wiring harness and painted wiper motor to dress up this already superb Sprite. Check out the tour and drive below!
