This car is “Too Fun!” (AN5L 3988), a 1958 Bugeye, an early car. This is a nice one because, while it has a few upgrades, it’s basically a stock early Bugeye. And it feels like it. Authentic, unmolested, simple, and too much fun!
The car has the original 948 engine with original smooth case transmission. The engine and transmission were reportedly rebuilt by the prior owner (two owners ago) who painted and restored the car. Original drum brakes are mounted on all four corners.
This car had one repaint and still shines beautifully. The car is painted well in the original cherry red color, very handsome indeed.
The seats were redone with great red leather covers and complementary black piping. This car has a short punch list which we can address for the new owner if so desired, call to discuss!
