Gotta love Gumby. I don’t get to drive Gumby much (because I spend so many miles testing everyone else’s cars) but I am so delighted to have this car, and the car still looks awesome. Gumby spawned the Bugeyeguys business and the other Super Sprites we have built… if you like this sort of car, make sure to take a look at “Angus” and “Jesse.” They’re quite similar.
These three cars (as well as “Sage,” ((now living in Colorado)) represent the best of the best and are ideally suited for anyone who wants bragging rights at the next cars and coffee. I don’t get tired looking at Gumby, and don’t think anyone ever tires of looking at our Super Sprites.
Meanwhile, enjoy this short tribute to the Bugeye that started it all. If I hadn’t purchased Gumby back in about 1978, if the car hadn’t been such a beater, if none of the stars aligned, would have been no Bugeyeguys.
