Here’s a rare opportunity to buy a very special classic car.

These metal dash MGBs were the best of the breed, with fewer external lights (no reflectors or back-up lights) and no buzzers and plastic (like on later cars) and maximum power (they have the most HP of the breed). Add to that $40K invested by two prior owners and you have a special opportunity! The car is completely sorted, with no punch list (mechanicals have all been gone through) and ready to enjoy.
I am quite bullish on these early GTs. They are gorgeous. The fastback is a very sexy shape. The interior is delicious-comfortable and nostalgic. The giant steering wheel is well-mated to the balance of the car and just plain fun to grip. I’ve kept my own personal ’67 GT for the past 15 or so years for these reasons… this is a car that punches above its weight and for not a lot of money you can have a car that turns heads everywhere.

Add to this one an upgraded buttery smooth fully synchronized Miata transmission, new lever shocks at all four corners and plush new Michelin XAS tires. The ride is excellent. Handling is excellent. Utility is excellent, courtesy of the functional hatchback. This is one of my favorite cars (next to Bugeyes, of course) and it is really hard to find a solid well-prepared one. So I hope you’ll give this one a serious look!

This 1966 MGB GT has been through our shop several times and each time gets even better! Check out the video below to learn more!
I have my own so I am biased… but I believe this to be one of the best classic cars that I have owned. Here’s why… it’s very comfortable, particularly for taller drivers. It holds a lot of gear. It has tons of style. It’s really fun to drive. It cruises well. It looks like a million bucks. It has a very sleek and sexy shape (much more novel than the roadster).

The pre-68 cars are the ones to have because of their superior metal dash and vintage period gauges and feel. They have more power than later cars, better ride height, chrome bumpers, no backup lights for a cleaner vintage look, best badges, best grill, no side reflectors, etc!!!

We have done a massive amount of work on this car the past several years for its prior owners. We put in an all new leather interior and carpet kit to make the interior strikingly nice. We installed period-looking three-point retractable seat belts when we restored the interior, which are mounted on custom brackets we fabricated, and entire interior is now beautiful.

We also went through and replaced any perishable mechanical items, such as new rubber hoses and oil cooler lines, as well as new rear wire wheel splines and brakes, so the entire car has been refreshed. Most recently, we upgraded the transmission to a Mazda five-speed transmission and fitted new Michelin XAS 180R14 tires, as well as a new steering rack, rebuilt carburetors, and so much more! This one is easy to drive, and beautiful! Check out the build sheet below from 2022 and 2024.
