Greg was present when his dad bought this car in 1959, and when he got his license in 1964, this car got quite a workout. Greg and his brother subsequently cracked multiple frame members and suspension parts as they beat the daylights out of this little Sprite, on the race track and jumping railroad crossings throughout town (once with seven people on board)!
We were charged with welding all the cracks, striping the car’s original paint and rebuilding it all. The full restoration took about a year, and for Greg we blended old and new to retain the vibe while upgrading to superior reliability.
The car came out great.
