We are crafts people. We spend a lot of time at our shop focusing on the fine details of these fun little cars. We love to take clients dreams and make them a reality, whether getting a car running and driving great or going all-out and creating a rolling work of art.
Here’s Kenny building a recent custom interior kit for a client in California – they asked us to sew up their vision so they can build their own seats. We custom built all the components and boxed them up for a cross country journey.
The client requested a black leather interior with diamond stitched inserts. They plan a silver center stripe for their car and wanted complementary silver accented diamonds sewn into the center section of their seats.
The client also chose black wool square weave carpet kit to complete their custom interior. If you look closely, you’ll see we used silver stitching to complete the look and bring it all together.
We also transferred the diamond stitching pattern from the seat design onto a set of custom made leather door pockets, cut from the same leather hide used for the seats.
