“Carmine” (AN5L 37194), is quite special. We have owned this car two previous times and each time, she steps up another level! The car was already well modified, and before we shipped the car to Florida this year, we added a supercharger, aluminum radiator, alternator conversion, new uprated clutch, new transmission, new grill, new electronic tachometer and a completely rebuilt front end! Few miles have been added since those modifications were installed!

This is “Gibbs,” (AN5L 43622) an excellent Bugeye just painted in a handsome metallic (Chevy) green. The car is restored and quite solid, with the original engine rebuilt and still in place.

This is a a great Bugeye, with a lot of restoration work recently completed. Any rust was removed and new metal was welded in place. The paint is quite nice. It’s all new work. I particularly like the light undercoating applied to the underside and inside of the boot. It’s black, uniform and tidy, making for a nice finished look in the trunk and under the entire car. It’s not gooped up like a lot of undercoat jobs.

The engine is a recently rebuilt 948, mated to a smooth case transmission. The wheels are new minilight-type, and the tires are nearly new too. Brakes are drums all around, with all new hydraulic parts.

We have just gone through the car and upgraded it to rebuilt HS2 carbs, a welcome improvement. We’ve also put in new rear shocks. Compression is 120 in all cylinders and oil pressure is also good. The car is great to drive and good fun!

A nice top is included, as are good side curtains. An electric fuel pump upgrade has also been fit. No tonneau, but we can fit one for the new owner.

The floor coverings could be improved-currently, rubber mat is in place, but we can upgrade the interior for the new owner with new carpet or a new hardura kit is the new owner so desires. Seats are very nice, black with matching green piping. No heater is fit-the car formerly lived down south where one was not needed. We also sell heater kits if the new owner prefers.

This is a beautiful, restored, 1960 Bugeye called “Delores”(AN5L 30460). She shows 60,133 miles. Bodywork is all done, a full restoration is now complete and the paint is new in Olde English white. The build is correct and accurate throughout, with stock parts and new radial tires in the correct size. White with red is stunning on these cars and always popular.

Take a look at the interior details–we’ve fit the correct red door check straps, the correct door weather-stripping which is finished off just like it was at the factory, the correct door plugs and even the door linings and door pockets. Seats are new, dash is recovered with leather (original dashboards were vinyl, this is a nice upgrade). The result is a stunning all correct interior.

This straight and nicely restored car with a ton of new parts, including new drum brakes, all new hydraulics, front sway bar, and a great red tonneau that matches the interior. There is no top yet, but we can fit one in the same red color as the tonneau.

Engine is the freshly rebuilt 948 stock powerplant and the transmission is a rebuilt correct smooth case stock four-speed model. Oil pressure and power is just like new. In 1982, Ty and his dad bought this 1960 Bugeye (AN5L 18133) from a neighbor, loaded it onto a hay trailer and towed into their barn. They began amassing parts for their planned restoration. Then life happened. And the car sat for the next 35 years, showing 50,345 miles on the clock.

This week, that same trailer that held the car off the ground for all these years was dragged out of the barn with the car still sitting on top, and the whole assembly saw the light of day for the first time since 1982. The project is now ready for a new restorer. We are too busy to take this one on, (we’re particularly engrossed in our facility expansion project ) so we are offering this car for sale for anyone looking for a barn-find project. The car is located in Ohio and ready for shipment. We can have it delivered directly to you if you like.

The car will need complete body restoration, with body repair required in the usual places. The floors are better than average, but expect to do some floor repairs too. The rear axle and springs were removed in 1982 for spring box repair which was never performed. Dashboard and nicer than normal original seats are also included. 948 engine and smooth case transmission have been sitting since 1982 and you can assume they will need a complete rebuild. Engine appears complete with all needed original parts.

The car was originally old english white with red interior. Many old and new parts are included as shown, including multiples of certain items. Lots of new parts were purchased back in the 80s, including a wiring harness. It’s all in a big barrel that comes with the car as shown in the pictures.

A clear Ohio title is included. I have the phone number of the neighbor who owned this car from 1974-1982. He’s a nice guy and very available if the new owner wants to hear more history. We have the contact info for the owner prior to 1974 as well.

“Sara” (AN5L 23816) is a 1960 Bugeye Sprite that looks stock and is configured with a stock 948 engine and drum brakes all around. I was delighted to buy this car back when they were done with it, particularly because it is now so well apointed.
