NOW SOLD to Paul of PA! Congratulations on our 316th Bugeye sold! We’re excited to have Bic back, aptly named for Brian “Bic” Healey (Donald Healey’s son) who signed the inside fender of this one!

AN5L 5945 is a great car, which was restored perhaps 10 years ago. We owned this car in 2017 and prepared it for Robert in Colorado, who put just a few hundred miles on the car due to health challenges during this period of his life. We purchased the car back this summer and brought it back to Connecticut where it is now ready for a new home.

This is a 1098 engine equipped car, with front disk brakes and a four speed transmission with non-synchro first gear plus four year old beautiful VTO wheels and four year old tires.

Bic has enjoyed quite a few modifications in 2017 and as with all the cars we have seen previously in our shop, the new buyer of this car will enjoy the fruit of a major sorting at our facility. Our cars just get better each time they come through our building.

For example, we have already upgraded the cooling system with an aluminum radiator, the exhaust with a header and twin tipped Bugeyeguy muffler, and we have changed the nose to flip forward for better engine access. We changed the heater valve, rear shocks, installed new K&N lifetime air filters, and put in there point retractible seat belts too! LED lights were installed, new fuel tank, new electronic fuel pump, side curtain pouch, top bag, car cover, larger dash mirror, and a removable quick release Momo steering wheel too! Front sway bar, water pump, battery cut off switch, ignition guillotine, remove clutch bleeder, rubber footwell mats, new windshield, locking fuel cap, new front shocks, Pertronix electronic ignition… you can see why our cars have been prepared for a long life and maximum reliability and fun!

Call or email if interested! I’ll be happy to review Bic’s prior build sheet with you, and to also do a face time tour of this Sprite!
