NOW SOLD to Michael in Martha Vineyard! A perfect new home! Island life! Thanks Michael for entrusting us with your second Bugeyeguy Bugeye Sprite!
This is a 1960 Bugeye we call “Stanley,” (AN5L 37059) and this is a good one! He’s got a strong four speed transmission, a 1275 engine and front disk brakes, as well as wire wheels. But most importantly, this is a high-level restoration that was done quite well. If you are looking for a good car that is nicely restored, this one is worth serious consideration. There are no blisters or paint imperfections, or dents or dings. This is a very clean car. The interior is also excellent and the underside is nice too.

This was an Arizona car with no rust that was restored about seven years ago in the Southwest and then sold to our client in Ontario. I would guess the car only has about 1000 miles since restoration and it still looks freshly done. We have imported the car back into the states and it has clear paperwork to be registered anywhere in the world.

Power, braking and finish is excellent, as is the interior. The color matched painted dashboard is quite nice, and I like the way the color waterfalls off the back of the nose onto the dash.

We have just replaced the fuel pump with a new solid state unit and also replaced the fuel tank and pick up line. The car has a fair top that would get you home, but we can also replace it if the new owner so desires… we have those in stock. He also has a nice short tonneau. Side curtains are the correct original cores, for restoration.

I like this car and recommend it to anyone looking for a great car with tons of new parts installed. It is a great candidate for a five-speed conversion (we have the parts here and can do that for the new owner) and/or any other performance and reliability upgrades, all of which we can do here once we get a chance to discuss the car with the new owner.
