NOW SOLD! Congratulations to Jim in Arizona!!!! #260!

Here’s the perfect car for anyone looking for a mostly stock Bugeye that is extremely well sorted. We built-up this car for a client in April of this year and sent it to him in Michigan. He put about 500 miles on the car and had to sell it back to us this month for personal reasons. This gives someone the opportunity to take over stewardship of a very fine example, with all the kinks freshly ironed-out.
Join me in a two minute test drive below, while I verify that this car is performing wonderfully and ready for re-deployment to a new home:
We painstakingly upgraded this car for the prior owner, installing any and all options to improve reliability. We repaired anything that seemed like it might be vulnerable on the road. The result, now 500 miles later, is a well-sorted car that still has zero items on the punch list, courtesy of a very generous prior owner.
Someone is soon going to own a very nice little Sprite.

Mellow is car number AN5L 6825, verified by the heritage certificate, was built on November 11, 1958 and dispatched to the USA on November 17 of that same year. The car still wears the original primrose yellow and black color combination.

We upgraded this past Spring with new tires and a front sway bar, spin-on oil filter and electric fuel pump, and a long list of other options. The 948 engine and carbs are stock, as are the front drum brakes. We have upgraded the wheel cylinders and wheel bearings to a modern tapered set.

If this is the sort of car you like, please email and I will give you more information. We have an extensive build sheet describing about 100 improvements and repairs from March of 2019, all of which make this car a delight. If you want to take this car home, I will be delighted to share that worksheet with you so you can see the investment made by the prior owner just this year. That investment makes this a unique opportunity to purchase a well-sorted Bugeye ready to enjoy today.
Call or email if you would like to take Mellow home!
