Price now reduced – $3,995! Includes two cars and a rotisserie plus some great new parts!
This week we are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to purchase not one, but TWO Bugeye projects on location in the Midwest! Due to some health issues, one of our Bugeye friends in the Indianapolis area is selling off their entire collection of Bugeye parts, which includes two Bugeye tubs and a large collection of parts, both new and used!

This client purchased one of these two projects from us in the winter of 2020 as a passion project. This 1959 Bugeye was a roller when it left our building, and in the past two-plus years the chassis has been entirely stripped-down, placed on a rotisserie, and metalworking commenced. The photos of this car (the grey one in the pictures you see in the slideshow) show the extent of the work that has been completed so far and the extent of the work left to do, but this car provides a solid starting point for someone looking for a Bugeye restoration project! The rotisserie on which the chassis is currently mounted will be included in the sale.

In addition to the Grey chassis, this sale will also include a red 1958 chassis that has also been stripped-down and has also had some body panels removed in preparation for its restoration. As you will see in the photos, the entire floor has been removed from the red car, while the bracing all remains intact, some of which has already been welded into place. This car will also provide a good starting point for someone looking to dive into a Bugeye restoration!

As well as the two bare tubs, this package will come with a large collection of parts for these cars, including a total of three transmissions, at least one 948 engine core, two rear ends, two bonnets (one from each car, as shown in the slideshow), trim pieces, a windshield frame, steering components, suspension parts, a dash, two seat cores, heater bits, a dashboard, and much, much more! Check out the slideshow at the end of this post for a full overview of the parts included!

In anticipation of repairing the rust issues on one (or both) of these cars, the previous owner purchased a large amount of new body panels, as well, which are included in the sale. The full assortment is included in the slideshow, but below I have attached a couple of photos to give you a general idea of the new parts included.

Buying this collection will afford the new custodian of this project the ability to build either one or two Bugeyes in the image they so desire! Of course, we offer the parts needed to complete this project, from trim screws to tires and everything in between! We will provide technical support and parts advice to the next project manager in the hopes that this project will be given the caring touch that it so very badly deserves, and that our friend has provided for his entire ownership.
We are offering this project for sale at $4,999. It is currently housed in Noblesville, Indiana, the northernmost suburb of Indianapolis, and this is where the project will need to be picked up. Give us a call if you’re interested and we will work with you to set up the logistics… we can help you find a shipped if needed. This is a great opportunity for TWO restorable Bugeyes at an affordable price!
